Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms & Eligibility

By visiting, browsing, signing up for, or using Calwist Loan (the “Service”), you enter into a binding legal agreement with Calwist (“Calwist”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). If you are using the Service on behalf of a business or other entity, you represent that you possess the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age and possess the legal capacity to form a binding contract to create an account or use our Service.

2. Description of Calwist Loan

Calwist Loan is a web-based tool that helps you track your debts (home loans, personal loans, gold loans, car loans, educational loans, credit cards, private loans, business term loans, cash credit, overdrafts, equipment loans and other debts), see estimated payoff dates, and plan extra payments with the debt avalanche method, which puts extra money on the debt with the highest interest rate first.

We reserve the right to improve, update, modify, or discontinue any feature, calculation model, or component of the Service at our discretion to maintain high quality and system performance.

When you create an account on Calwist, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete sign-up information and keep it regularly updated.
• Maintain the strict confidentiality of your login credentials and immediately notify us of any suspected breach or unauthorized account access.
• Take full responsibility for all activities and data inputs conducted under your authenticated account session.

5. Subscriptions, Fees & Cancellations

Calwist Loan offers a free Starter plan and two paid plans:

Subscriptions are billed in advance on an annual basis and renew every year until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the Memberships page in the app. Upon cancellation, you retain access to premium features until the end of the paid billing cycle, after which no further renewal charges will apply.

6. Acceptable Use & Conduct

You agree not to misuse the Service. Specifically, you may not:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code or proprietary debt calculation algorithms of Calwist Loan.
• Use automated scrapers, crawlers, or bots to harvest data from our platform.
• Introduce malware, viruses, or any malicious code intended to damage, interrupt, or overload our servers.
• Impersonate any individual or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or organization.

7. Intellectual Property Rights

All rights, titles, and interests in the Calwist platform—including but not limited to software, code, logos, visual designs, payoff graphs, texts, and user interfaces—are and will remain the exclusive property of Calwist and its licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the Service solely for your personal or authorized internal business purposes.

8. Third-Party Links & Services

Our Service may provide references or hyperlinks to third-party tools, payment gateways, or resources. Calwist is not responsible for the availability, privacy practices, or content of such external websites. Accessing third-party services is at your own risk.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, CALWIST PROVIDES THE SERVICE “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR VIRUS-FREE.

10. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL CALWIST, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, OR FINANCIAL LOSSES RESULTING FROM YOUR RELIANCE ON PAYOFF PROJECTIONS. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO CALWIST DURING THE PRECEDING TWELVE (12) MONTHS.

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Calwist, its officers, directors, and employees from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the Service.

12. Account Termination & Suspension

You may terminate your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service if we determine, in our sole discretion, that you have breached these Terms or engaged in unauthorized or unlawful activity.

13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.

14. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will post the revised Terms on this page with an updated “Effective Date”. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes your agreement to the amended Terms.
